Resource Guru is a cloud-based resource management platform that helps teams schedule people, equipment, and meeting rooms, manage capacity, track time, and monitor profitability with a real-time view of workloads.
Competing with the likes of Asana, Monday.com, and ClickUp, this up-and-coming SaaS brand needed to grow their domain power to increase brand awareness and visibility in search.
So, we ran a targeted digital PR campaign. In just 3 months, Resource Guru managed to generate 16 high-quality backlinks (including one from Forbes) and increase their domain rating to 70.

⛰️ The Challenge
Resource Guru already had a strong product and a beautiful website.
But in a competitive SaaS market, they needed a stronger domain authority to rank higher in Google, appear in LLM answers, and earn user trust.
The only way to do that is by earning more high-quality backlinks from authoritative, relevant publications that target the same audiences as Resource Guru.
💡 Our Strategy
To generate links at scale, we needed something journalists would genuinely want to cover.
Here’s what we did:
💡 Created a link-worthy report
We published Resource Guru’s Agency Overworking Report 2025 — a data-led, newsworthy report built to attract editorial attention.
The report gave writers and editors what they need to publish a story quickly:
- Clear angles and takeaways
- Statistics that support broader narratives
- Practical insights relevant to agency leaders and operations teams
💡 Pitched it to authoritative publications
Once the report was live, we ran an outreach campaign targeting publications most likely to cover workforce trends, productivity, and agency life.
We focused on quality over volume — prioritizing sites with strong authority and real editorial standards.
🚀 The Results
In just 3 months, the campaign delivered:
✅ 17 backlinks acquired, with an average DR of 58
✅ Featured in Forbes
✅ Domain Rating increased to 70
